Law, order, and crime have become one of the favorite genres of international production houses in India. Breath season 2 ‘Breathe: Into The Shadows’ is another portrayal of the same. The acting skills of Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen were present but this happens to be the only. The series has a perfectly-knitted plot with twists and turns that won’t let you switch over. With all this, there is a lot to be mentioned.

Abhishek Bachchan’s digital debut with Amazon Prime’s ‘Breathe’ S2 remained in the headlines since the announcement by the Bollywood superstar. The second season of the show with Mayank Sharma’s direction skills had to prove their worth. The first season of the show stars R. Madhavan was something that Breathe S2 misses.

The broody cop Inspector Kabir Returns

The creators have done well as Inspector Kabir Sawant played by the talented Amit Sadh returns to the show. The broody cop is weighed down by guilt that is gnawing at his existence. This makes hid return to the show more authentic and relatable. His character is part of various twists.

Inspector is not the only enthusiast on the screen eager to accomplish missions, the star of the show Abhishek Bachchan has his mission too. He is desperately searching for his daughter Siya. This search is the major plotline of the story. The whole story of the series revolves around this search of Abhishek’s.

Dr Avinash Sabharwal played by Abhishek Bachchan has a wife and daughter as his whole universe. Avinash’s wife Abha, played by Nithya Menen, and his daughter abducted from a birthday party in the very first few establishing scenes. From this moment the plot starting throwing tons of suspicions, thrills, and twists.

Desperate Dr turns Deducing and Plotting Murderer

The search for Siya starts but there is no clue till the 9th month. The plot gets ignition with a masked kidnapper reaches out to them after as long as 9 months. What makes it worth watching is the demands made by the kidnapper. Instead of asking for ransom, the kidnapper demands the killing of seemingly innocent people and with even warped instructions of evoking emotions like anger, lust, and even fear eventually. This situation turns Avinash a desperate doctor to a deducing and plotting murderer.

Dr. Avinash becomes ready to do anything he could to save his asset of life; his family. The background music suggests internal turmoil.

Saiyami Kher: Wait more for more!

Nithya Menen and Saiyami Kher have given little meat or screen time in the first four episodes at least. From ‘Choked’ Saiyami Kher has made us all wanting for more. The first four episodes of Breathe S2 suggest that struggle and submission in her character definitely worth more. On the other hand, Nitha Menen’s portrayal of a fearful yet fierce mother remains just that. She takes bigger risks but the writer didn’t take many liberties from the usual tropes.

Breathe S2 worth watch?

With so many twists, thrill, and suspicion going on Breathe S2 is a must-watch. For every thriller enthusiast, the series comes with references from Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman’s Shawshank Redemption. Length may short but the scale will be maintained!
