Netflix, the inarguably TV show giant, is all set to amaze subscribers with another season of American dark fantasy/adventure web series Dark Crystal Age of Resistance. The first season was produced by Netflix and The Jim Henson Company, 37 years after Jim Henson’s movie. It was consist of 10 episodes that were received by fans and critics.
Though the official renewal of the season by Netflix is still pending, what will happen in the second season is already striking fans’ minds.
Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Season 2; Renewal Status
For general fans of TV shows and particular fans of the aforementioned season, it is evident that the previous season of every show is warranted to the next show. At the finale of a season, various enigmas remain unsolved. Thus, suggesting another season.
Dark Crystal Age of Resistant is a type of series that cannot be completed in just one season. And to the great surprise of fans and everyone out there, the creators have not confirmed the 2nd season yet.

Looking at the statement of the co-creator, it seems that we have to wait a bit more for final confirmation. Will Matthews says, “If we are lucky enough to get more seasons then the story will go on and we know where it’s going and it’s maybe more hopeful than you might think.”

Gelflings and Skesis were the two prominent powers. Although Geflings won the battle of Stones in wood, the war was not over against Skesis. Till the very end of the first season – despite the hard work – scientists were unable to invent a weapon that will turn the war in Skesis’ favor. The result of the corpses of Arathim and the Gruneks pieced together – Garthim – were powered by the dark crystal. This could be the tool to win the war for Skesis.
Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Season 2; who will return?
As far as the cast is concern, at the time of writing, it can be confirmed that Gelflings Rian (Taron Egerton), Brea (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Deet (Nathalie Emmanuel) will appear for the second season. Along with these three major roles, we hope to have Natalie Dormer, Toby Jones, Theo James, Mark Strong, Caitriona Balfe, Helena Bonham-Carter, Harris Dickinson, Eddie Izzard, Shazad Latif, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Alicia Vikander.
