When the super mini season of good omens came to an end the show left viewers happy and disappointed. Season one premiered on May 2019 then fans has been eagerly waiting for the Good omens season 2. The ride of the show has been beyond comfortable – the series had to face criticism –moreover a failed petition for Netflix to cancel the show also created a great hype. It might also seem to some of the people that Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s novel and it is primarily based upon a story where angel and demons try to avert Armageddon on Earth.
Sheen has said he is open to make a comeback
“It’d have to be by Neil, I suppose, and it would depend on what it was, really. But yeah, I’d come back.
“I love the character and I love the world of it. It’s very enjoyable working with David and the rest of the team.”
“It would depend on if there was another story,” the Welsh actor told us.
However we don’t ask you to keep your viewing party ready as Gaiman has cleared that he made the series as standalone series.
“We’re not specifically building it to do more, we are building this to be itself,” he said.
What is the expected release date for Good omens season 2
Scheduling issue for the stars has been a big hurdle for the filming of the good omens season 2. Fortunately makers have not cancelled it yet there is no official release date announced on Amazon yet. We can say the next instalment may set to air in by 2021.
The first season revolves around a demon and angel named as Crowley and Aziraphale. They both work for the same purpose and that is to stop antichrist and apocalypse. The cast members include David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm and Adria Arjona.
