Adapting an upright posture: When one is pregnant, the weight at the front tends to make them feel like bending towards the front. You should try as much as you can to stay in upright position. The earlier in pregnancy you begin, the better for you. It relieves you the discomfort as weight is not concentrated on one area of the body. When seated, get a chair that can support you fully. When standing, do not lean against objects in an awkward posture.

Resting: You should avoid strenuous jobs that tend to make you bend all the time. You should try as much as you can to rest. This will give your muscles time to rest. You should adapt the kind of a posture that makes you feel comfortable. If you are uncomfortable, you should change the position. It is a good idea to avoid things that will affect your back. You should be careful with heavy loads.

Eat well: You should keep off foods that make your tummy feel bloated or can cause constipation. It is healthy to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fiber. This will prevent the discomfort of indigestion. If you are under medication that is causing the problem during pregnancy, you should go back to the doctor. Lower back pain should not be ignored in pregnancy. It could be a sign of a serious underlying problem.

The severity of pregnancy back pain is different in different women. Some women take it in their stride and continue with their daily chores, while others, who experience shooting pain throughout the day, are unable to perform even their basic functions; forcing them to spend most of their time in the bed. By making regular exercise a part of your daily routine, you can reduce the impact of back pain so that it does not become a hindrance in your daily life.
