Method 1- Download your Account Data
It is a little bit of a long process that may take a few minutes to complete. However, you can get the correct information. If you want to see your Instagram reel history by downloading your account data follow the below instructions.
Step 1: Sign In on Desktop
First, go to Instagram on your computer and sign in to your account. You can’t do this on your phone, so make sure you’re using a desktop or laptop.
Step 2: Find the Menu
Look for the three-line menu icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. It’s called the Hamburger menu.
Step 3: Go to Your Activity
Click on “Your Activity” from the menu.
Step 4: Access Data Download
Now, find and click on the “Download Your Information” option.
Step 5: Choose Format and Confirm
Check if your email is correct. Then, choose the format you want your data in (HTML or JSON) and click “Next.”
Step 6: Verify and Request Download
Provide your Instagram account password and tap on “Request Download. menu”
Step 7: Confirmation
You’ll receive a confirmation message saying your download has been requested. It may take up to 14 days to get it. Remember, you can only ask for your data once every 30 days.
Step 8: Check Your Email
Once you are ready, you will receive an email from Instagram. Click on “Download Information” in the email.

This will take you back to Instagram’s website. Log in again if required.

After downloading, open the file and find the folder named “ads_and_topics.” Open it.

Inside, look for the file called “videos_watched.html” and open it.

Finally, you will get a list of links to every video you have watched, including Reels. This won’t give you direct links to the videos, but it shows the account name and time. You can use this to find Reels from specific accounts.
Method 2- Check for your Activity Tab

You can either pick a collection to save it in or create a new one. If you don’t do anything, it will just go into a general folder called “All Posts.”
