Rivera was missing from 5 days and search operations were in place to found her. After 5 days of tireless effort, her body was discovered. The singer disappeared on Lake Piru, where her son, Josey, was found alone on 8th July. He was found on a boat they had rented, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement that the body was Rivera’s.

“Glee” co-star Jane Lynch twitted, “Rest sweet, Naya. what a force you were”. A creator od fox TV show says he is  “heartbroken over all the stories that will remain untold.”

“Thank you for what you gave the world,” Viola Davis prayed for Rivera’s family and Kristin Chenoweth wrote. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wrote that as a Latina it is rare to have “rich, complex characters reflect us in media.”

Naya Rivera had a passion for acting from a very young age. She had started appearing on the screen from a young age. But she rose to eminence with her role in the hit TV musical comedy ‘Glee’ where she portrayed a lesbian teen. The show aired from 2009 until 2015 on Fox.

Santa Clarita, California resident Naya Rivera appeared in series such as series as “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Family Matters” and “The Bernie Mac Show”, at a very young age. 20th Century Fox TV and Fox Entertainment paid their tribute to the late actor and wrote, “Naya Rivera was a fierce talent with so much more to do”.  They grieved that ‘it is such a terrible tragedy.’ Moreover, they said they ‘are forever grateful for the indelible contribution she made to ‘Glee,’ from the first episode to the last’.
