The historic drama of Netflix is all set to return to the screen with alienist season 2. The first season of the show had been a huge hit and therefore makers sooner started producing the second season of the show starring Douglas Smith as Marcus Isaacson, Daniel Bruhl as Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, Brian Geraghty as Theodore Roosevelt, Matt Lintz as Stevie Taggart, Dakota Fanning as Sara Howard and many more. The drama is based upon one of the famous novel ‘The alienist’. The first season had a total ten episodes and premiered on January 21, 2018, and came to the conclusion on March 2018. Fans of the show had been desperately waiting for the comeback of the season and finally, they are elated that they get to see their favorite show after the arduous wait.

The makers of the show have confirmed the adventures show will make a comeback in August 2020. We may have to see many new faces on the alienist season 2. Plot
The season one has so many twists and some of them remain a big question mark throughout the season. The alienist season 2 is likely to be more adventurous and historical exactly like the story of the novel ‘The Angel of Darkness’ it is based upon. The story has been written by the same author and the season is predicted to have more historical fiction and criminal offense. The show will revolve around Sara Howard – a private detector seeking assistance for Dr. Kreizler’s to identify the infant daughter of a dignitary from Spain. It is yet uncertain that to what extent the makers will follow the book.
