As we continue to get vaccinated, slowly but surely it seems the world is reopening again. For many people, this means something very exciting—finally being able to hear live music again!

If you’re itching to get out and hear live music again this year, don’t worry! Many bands and music festivals are already announcing shows for 2021. Here, we’ve broken down some of the highlights so you can get ready for a great year of music!

Mempho Music Festival

This year, the Mempho Music Festival will take place at the Memphis Botanic Garden from October 1-3. The lineup is a music lover’s dream with people like the Avett Brothers, Widespread Panic, Black Pumas, and Lucinda Williams.

Early bird tickets are selling out fast so make sure you grab a seat quick!

Railbird Festival

The Railbird Festival is a slightly less well-known festival that takes place on the grounds at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky.  The festival takes place this year from August 28-29 and is not only a great celebration of music but also great bourbon and horse racing (it is Kentucky after all).

There are some huge names headlining the Railbird Festival this year, including Dave Matthews Band, My Morning Jacket, and Leon Bridges.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado is probably one of the best-known concert venues in the country, and for good reason. With beautiful natural surroundings, this is an amazing place to enjoy an outdoor concert.

Red Rocks has already begun announcing some of their upcoming concert events for the year, starting as early as this month. From the music of John Williams with the Colorado Symphony to The Revivalists, Glass Animals, or Barenaked Ladies, there is something for everyone this summer at Red Rocks.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

You heard that right: Bonnaroo is back this year! Bonnaroo is a huge 40-day musical event that takes place in Manchester, Tennessee. This year it’s happening September 2-5 and you want to get tickets ASAP.

This year is a lineup like no other—Foo Fighters, Megan Thee Stallion, Tame Impala, Lizzo, Tyler, the Creator, Lana Del Ray…Need I go on? You do not want to miss out on this experience.

Tampa Bay Live Music
