With American Gods and Good Omens’ author Neil Gaiman’s attachment, the show was announced for American streamer in summer last year. The Hollywood Reporter says the show will consist of 11 episodes that will be released on the streamer in one go. After successfully completing the shows like Wonder Woman, ABC’s The Catch andGrey’s Anatomy- Allan Heinberg – is going to be the showrunner for the Sandman.
