Reports claim that Netflix Original series The Society which came out in 2019 is based on the idea of the modern world’s Lords of Flies. The American teen drama mystery thriller created by Christopher Keyser has been brought back for the second season.
The mystery thriller teen drama is about a group of students who come back from a trip and to the great amazement of them, they find that there is no adult in the town. Now, everywhere they see is freedom, fun, and enjoyment. But very soon they realize that they must manage their lives and follow some sort of discipline.
The Society Season 2: Release Date
When it comes to a clear confirmation about the release date, Netflix has a tendency to maintain the suspense till the last moment. The same is the case with this particular season’s release date. Reports say that the Society season 2 will be released in 2021. However, the official website suggests that the season will be aired in 2020.

It has already confirmed that the production for Season 2 was completed in 2019. This means the Society season 2 will hit the screens this year.

At the finale of the season first, thanks to the research of Gordie and Bean, it was revealed that they were living in a parallel universe and the way out was still to find out. Season two will solve the mystery about how the teens get back home.
