1.         Origin

She lives an abusive household where she was born to Philip and Madeline Watson. She was the younger sister of Gayle Watson and her mother wanted to move to New York to have an acting career. Nothing much interesting about her father’s life to know: a frustrated professor and writer who used to take out his frustration on his family.

2.         First appearance

She appeared, in fact, mentioned, for the first time on the Amazing Spider-man – 15 in August 1964. Her first mention was not as much appreciated as she was introduced to a running joke. Peter’s aunt wanted him to date her.
