The Baby Sitters Cub Netflix has a fresh voice and a winning cast. The show is the modern adaptation of the long-running Ann M. Martin book series that published from the late 1980s to 2000. It took almost a year but finally, Netflix is ready to release The Baby Sitters Club, a 10-episode live-action series based on Ann M. Martin’s cult-classic coming-of-age novels.

Weeks before the final release, Netflix revealed that the beloved BFFs of Stoneybrook, Connecticut. The cast is as follows, Sophie Grace as Kristy Thomas, Malia Baker as Mary-Anne Spier, Momona Tamada as Claudia Kishi, Shay Rudolph as Stacey McGill, and Xochitl Gomez as Dawn Schafer.

In 2019, Netflix confirmed the production start of The Baby Sitters Club. In a tweet, Netflix had confirmed the theme of the show will base on thirty years old book. But it will set in the modern age and encourage young female entrepreneurs. Melissa Cobb, vice president of Kids & Family at Netflix, said that it is the “opportune time to tell an aspirational story about empowering young female entrepreneurs.”

In addition to the cast mentioned above, Alicia Silverstone will play Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer. It is the central character of the show because Kristy – Elizabeth’s daughter – is the club president and series protagonist. Along with her, Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein will join the cast as her love of life and Kristy’s step-father.

An interesting fact is that Alicia represents the original generation of baby sitters’ readers. The show will air on Netflix on July 3, 2020, globally. It will consist of a total of 10 episodes.
