Produced by Netflix and the Jim Henson Company, Dark Crystal Age of Resistance is a Netflix web series. The series is a spinoff of The Dark Crystal movie of 1982. The movie successfully managed to gain the attention of children, teenagers, and adults of the time as well. The same is the case with the show that attracted millions and many of them recalled their memories from the past century.
The first season of the show consists of 10 episodes which suggest that there is still a lot to happen. Co-creator Will Matthews said that they had “an ending that talks to the movie” for the show. Though Dark Crystal Season one suggests another season with its release on the streamer Netflix in August 2019, there is no announcement or news about season 2.

According to various rumor-mongering sites, fans’ expectations, and creators’ statements, it is visible that there will be another season. But when it will happen seems an enigma. With no confirmation, we expect that Dark Crystal will release on Netflix in 2021.
