Everyone is different but most people experience some discomfort after the surgeries. You may have swelling of your gums and face as well as bruising.
Many people have pain at the site of the implant surgery and some minor bleeding. Contact your surgeon immediately if you have worsening symptoms after a few days.
Use ice packs for swelling and only eat soft foods. Always take good care of your teeth with twice-a-day brushing. Always floss and clean between your teeth with a water floss or interdental brush.
